What you can do
Hello children! My name is Ray and I will explain to you how you can help us.
What could there be more beautiful in this world than children helping other children?
So, how about organising a little bazaar in your school with a craftsfair or a bakesale? You could do that for Christmas or Easter or other festivities.
The proceeds you could donate to our cause. Ask your teacher about it!
As well it would be great if you could invite your friends to read this Website. Talk about Africa and the children in Ethiopia and maybe you have some ideas yourself on how you could actually help. Ask also your teacher to have a look at www.alchemy-world.org and maybe to tell you more about Africa in class. He can contact our school events department if he needs more information (contact alchemyworld@gmail.com)
Also you can ask your parents if your family would be interested in sponsoring a poor family in Africa - you could even become friends with a young Ethiopian of your same age! The cost of such a sponsorship is quite small for Europeans, it's 14 UK Pounds/20 Euros/28 US-Dollars per month.
