Alchemy World regularly trains financially disadvantaged women to help improve their life and labour skills resulting in the ability to earn a better living for themselves and their families. Their training focuses on computer skills, business acumen, HIV AIDS education and life skills.

 

In November 2007, Alchemy World held their first graduation of 15 Women - all part of the Bahir Dar Women's Entrepreneur Association.

 

These 15 women are merchants. All had been struggling due to a lack of skills. The Alchemy World course has given them a huge confidence boost as well as an increased knowledge of what it takes to run a successful business. To continue to support their development, we have planned many more courses through the coming year.
