Full business immersion for the young entrepreneurs from Bahir Dar and Harar!
Two cities, two classes, two workshops! In collaboration with Mr. Stephen Whaley, Executive Director of WestFocus Entrepreneurship Centre (Westminster University, London) Alchemy World has organized the 3-day-events that were focused on preparing the participants for their future life as business people.
The workshops took place in local hotels from 17-19 June (Bahir Dar) and from 22-24 June (Harar). They were organized by our teachers who had been briefed in two preparatory meetings with Mr. Whaley and the Alchemy World team on the goals of the events.
The main idea behind the workshops was to stimulate creativity and business ideas and to improve courage, self-confidence and strength of the participants.
This was achieved through focused discussions, networking and marketplace games as well as teamwork with the intention to come up with innovative business ideas. We were amazed about the self-confidence and creativity that all the participants showed.
Our students are now working on those ideas, trying to push them forward and to take the next step on the ladder to success.
