Most of these young girls are then becoming prostitutes which is often the only way to make some money.
Alchemy World will now start a new programme for these girls in order to enable them to become financially self-sufficient. In a community project they will learn arts and crafts and will start trading by selling their products to international ethnic shops. They will be especially trained in producing hand-made Ethiopian greeting cards made with banana leaves and other local flaura.
